Breadwinner now has enhanced support for Person Accounts.

(If you don’t have Person Accounts enabled in Salesforce, this feature will have no effect on you)

This is one of our many features that have come from client requests. A B2C Breadwinner Customer has enabled Person Accounts uses the phone number as the primary identifier in both Salesforce and their accounting system.

This makes sense, as a B2C Company might have multiple John Smiths, etc.

Now, when Breadwinner performs it’s initial Account Sync, and during it’s regular hourly syncing with Xero, we will first attempt to match the Xero Contact to a SF Account based on the Salesforce Person Account email address.

You don’t need to do anything to set this up; it just works!
