What to check before you choose DBSync
Three things are worth confirming early, because they decide how much work lands on your team and what it costs.
Setup touches your Salesforce layouts
DBSync's QuickBooks Online guide has you assign DBSync page layouts to the Account, Contact, Opportunity, Opportunity Products and Product objects, and says the existing layout is replaced. Any custom fields on the old layout need to be moved across if you want them. Plan for that with your admin.
Check the direction of the templates you need
DBSync describes its QuickBooks Online template as unidirectional, with separate templates for Salesforce to QuickBooks and for QuickBooks to Salesforce. Confirm which templates your use case needs and how they work together.
Plans limit connectors, and tiers differ
DBSync says plans limit the number of apps or connectors, and that all plans need an annual contract. It lists NetSuite among its Premium connectors, so check which tier your systems fall into.
